Paid Media Specialist

Full-time / Seasonal contract position

What to Expect from the Role:
We’re hiring a performance-focused paid ads specialist to manage and scale campaigns for an upcoming event. You’ll own execution across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and Google Ads — launching quickly, testing aggressively, and optimizing daily for conversions.

This is a fast-moving freelance / fractional role for someone who thrives on performance, data, and hitting ambitious goals. Immediate start.

Skillset

  • Proven experience with Meta, TikTok, and/or Google Ads

  • Strong track record driving conversions (CPA, ROAS)

  • Skilled in audience targeting, retargeting, and scaling campaigns

  • Comfortable with rapid testing (creatives, copy, audiences)

  • Data-driven and able to optimize campaigns in real time

Creative Intern

What to Expect:
Support the Creative/Art Director with graphic design, video editing, and creative ideation for CURLFEST campaigns. Gain hands-on experience in branding and event promotion.

Responsibilities (example):

Operations Intern aka Get Things Done Specialist

What to Expect:
Support the logistics and behind-the-scenes operations of CURLFEST, including vendor coordination and budget tracking. Learn the ins and outs of event management.

Social Media Intern

What to Expect:
Assist the Social Media Lead in creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers. Gain valuable experience in digital marketing and community engagement.

Vendor Coordinator Intern

What to Expect:
Support the Operations Lead in the end-to-end execution of the CURLFEST Vendor Marketplace by managing vendor applications, invoices, communications, and engagement—serving as the primary point of contact for vendors and ensuring a seamless onboarding and event experience.
